The Law on the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Violence Against Women is the law on the prevention of violence against women in Turkey. The applications that are exempt from the fee and are decided in a short time, in the protection of women; removal of the perpetrator, blocking and so on. provides preventive protections.<\/p>\n

Women who are subjected to violence can also file a complaint directly with the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office, as well as seek help from various women\u2019s organizations such as Provincial and District Social Services Directorates, Women\u2019s Solidarity Centers of municipalities or bar associations, Mor \u00c7at\u0131, or call Alo 183.<\/p>\n

In case of direct application to the Family Court, the court gives a decision as soon as possible to prevent violence and to provide protection. Contrary to what is known, according to the Law on the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Violence Against Women, the statement of the woman is taken as a basis for implementing measures, not for making a judgment. Violence does not have to occur before a cautionary decision can be made. Violence does not need to be documented either. Danger and possibility are enough. Victims of violence have no burden of proof.<\/p>\n
